Hugh Thomas Douglas lost his life in a tragic car accident at the age of 20, on September 4, 2023.

Hugh was an exceptional student at Morehouse College who displayed immense dedication and promise in pursuing a business administration degree with a concentration in finance. He was the CFO of the Morehouse Business Association, an AltFinance Fellow, and a Goldman Sachs Fellow, demonstrating his commitment to excellence in his field. In addition, he was the founder of an affinity group designed to create community and connection among students from Atlanta and surrounding areas, the 404 Club. More than these things, Hugh was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend to many.

To honor the beacon of light that Hugh was to his family and community, his family has established a Memorial Fund. Initial proceeds will go to a scholarship fund for Morehouse students.
